Original paintings and Limited edition prints  vary in price greatly. They can also increase in value, some by huge amounts over time, so when framing them you must take into account their protection. In fact, a frame can be the most destructive place for a piece of artwork to be, if its not framed correctly.

So framing them with conservation in mind is by far the best way to go,  it really doesn't cost the earth: just by using the right materials and a little extra attention to detail your original works of art and limited editions will stay safe in their frame for many, many years, which of course will help keep their  value.
